My name is Florence Guiraud. Originally from France, I’ve travelled the world with my family, growing up on different continents. I ended up in the USA to study my passion, architecture, first at Parsons School of Design, then at MIT where I received my Master’s Degree.

Ceramics have always surrounded my life; growing up in Morocco with the incredible functional terracotta work you could find in the Souks, living in South Korea where the Onggi jars and decorative Celadons vases would adorn interiors like works of art, and in Portugal where I’ve learned to use cobalt powder to draw various designs on porcelain. It’s been a slow build but one that I’ve decided to acknowledge and embrace, and it’s been incredibly fulfilling.
